Material Flow Control

A major task of intralogistics is the transport of goods in suitable bins; it requires specific, real time IT systems. The IT system has to find the best connection between a source and a target. Redundancy, speed and the suitable conveyor systems are general conditions in order to find the most efficient way through the system. psb conceives and implements material flow systems which are directed by computers and controls. The jobs are assigned to these levels according to evidence and complexity. Central element of these systems is the transport matrix which is integrated in the selektron system. It determines the suitable route and assigns functions to the interstations, as e.g. weighing, scanning and printing.
